Braving the Winds

18th February 2012
Was an early morning start in the happy company of Chris Charlesworth, George Bayode, Ffion Hughes and John Versfeld. Conditions this morning werent easy at all, 50mph hour gusts and a few times nearly blown over due to the ferocity of the winds, after pottering around for an hour or so and dealing with the lack of light, we were all blessed to have had a 5 minute minute shooting window where the sun hit the distant hill. After that, it was game over, light disappeared and we made a haste to get back to the car as there was an approaching rain storm.

Although the weather gods werent smiling on us all the time, nevertheless it was worth going out to the Peaks as the company was great and I have to add, Chris was the man of the day! A real gent saving Ffion's tripod with a bit of DIY tape and providing John a coat as he was bloody cold!
