Revisiting the Lake District

08th April 2012
After a somewhat traumatic fortnight with a loss of a dear friend and fellow photographer George Bayode, it was a good time to have a break and have an opportunity to get away from it all.

The weather wasn't great for photography, but it wasn't a photographic trip, it was an opportunity to spend precious time with my daughter and wife, and to show them the beauty of the Lakes, and it was good, we visited Trotters World of Animals, Castle Rigg, Keswick, the home of Beatrix Potter over at Windermere.

Nevertheless the desire to get just oneshot was too strong, and one morning I had an opportunity based on the weather to try and capture the sunrise, and I had 5 minutes of light!
